Community Trade Marks can only be registered if the trade mark denomination does not describe the goods or services it is indended to protect. Features
Extensible by uploading more dictionary files in XDXF format. Written in Grails. Using Compass-Lucene as the search engine. RESTful search.
Search over a set of extensible open dictionaries in XDXF format(currently 16 dictionaries), the aim being all the official languages of the European Union.
Split words in order to find compound trademarks, for example if we request to check AQUASUBLIME the application would find the meaning of AQUA and SUBLIME in the english language
Future plans
In future releases it is planned to consider steming for each language by using Lucene
